1

Rinse 2 cups of white rice under cold water until the water runs clear to remove starch.

2

In a rice cooker, add 2 and 1/2 cups of chicken stock for the 2 cups of rice.

3

Add 1/8 cup of diced onions, 1/4 cup of diced celery, and 1/4 cup of diced carrots into the rice cooker with the rice and chicken stock.

4

Put the lid on the rice cooker and plug it in, then press the 'on' button.

5

Cook for 20 to 30 minutes until the rice cooker indicates it's done by switching to 'warm'.

To prevent mess from steam, wrap a towel around the lid of the rice cooker to keep the steam hole open.

7

Once cooked, fluff the rice with a fork to mix in the vegetables and loosen the rice.
