Crispy Baked Tofu

1 block extra firm tofu
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon reduced sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Press the tofu by wrapping it in a towel and placing something heavy on top for 10-15 minutes to remove excess water.

Cut the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes.

In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and 1/4 teaspoon each of turmeric and garlic powder.

Gently toss the tofu cubes in the mixture by hand to ensure each piece is coated.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread out the coated tofu cubes.

Bake in the oven at 200ยฐC (400ยฐF) for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway through to achieve golden color on both sides.
