Crispy Baked Tofu

1 block (14 oz) firm tofu
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup cornstarch

Preheat the oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).

Drain the tofu and press it between paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Cut the tofu into cubes or slices, depending on your preference.

In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

Add the tofu to the bowl and gently toss to coat the pieces evenly with the marinade.

Sprinkle the cornstarch over the marinated tofu and toss again until all pieces are coated.
