Lemon juice provides a similar acidity.

Get a jar that fits your immersion blender or use a blender or food processor.

Add a small handful of cilantro, mostly the leaves, into the jar.

Add a little bit of sea salt and the juice of one lime.

Add a splash of water, about a tablespoon.

Add one deseeded jalapeno to the jar.

Blend until you reach a super smooth and liquid consistency.

Add one large, fairly ripe avocado to the mixture.

Blend together until completely smooth.

Pour into a bowl for serving.
