Soak 1 cup of raw cashews in 1 ½ cups of hot water for at least a couple of hours.

Blend until very smooth, adding more water if needed to thin it out.

Taste and add ½ tsp of salt to taste.

Pour into a medium saucepan and add ¼ - ½ cup of salsa and ½ cup chopped green chile, mix and heat thoroughly.

Serve immediately or store in a container in the refrigerator for up to five days.
