Start by preparing the chips using frozen fries, placing them in the air fryer to cook.
Slice an onion roughly and add it to a pan with butter, cooking on low heat and stirring occasionally to avoid burning.
Dry off any excess moisture from the steak on both sides.
Spray the steak with a little oil and season with salt, black pepper, and garlic granules on one side.
Flip the steak and repeat the seasoning on the other side.
Heat a large pan over high heat and add butter until melted.
Place the steak in the pan and let it cook without moving it for about 4 minutes for a well-done steak.
Flip the steak to the other side, adding more butter on top to keep it juicy.
Once cooked, let the steak rest for a few minutes before cutting into it.
Remove any fat from the steak and chop it into small pieces for serving.
Plate the dish by laying down the fries, followed by the chopped steak, and top with peppercorn sauce and caramelized onions.
