Cut the top off of each ciabatta roll to create a 'boat'.

Gently press the inside down with your fingers.

Add some grated cheese to the 4 sides, creating a square for the egg.

Crack and add the egg in the middle of each roll.

Season with sea salt and black pepper.

Prepare your air fryer basket by lining it with a silicone mat (or parchment paper).

Transfer the rolls to your air fryer basket.

Preheat the air fryer.

Air fry at 350ºF / 180ºC for 5 minutes, adjusting time according to the desired egg texture.

Take the rolls out of the air fryer and top with more grated cheese, being generous.

Put the rolls back into the air fryer.

Air fry at 350ºF / 180ºC for another 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Enjoy immediately.
