After 3.5 hours of baking, remove the foil to check the ham's appearance.
Pour the juices from the roasting pan through a strainer into a saucepan.
Reduce the juice over medium heat for 15-30 minutes until it reaches a syrupy consistency.
Slice the ham and serve it on a cutting board, allowing guests to help themselves or cut it into portions.
Drizzle the reduced sauce over the ham or serve it on the side.
