Granulated sugar is a common pantry item and can be easily made into syrup.

In a large measuring cup, mix together 1/2 cup key lime juice, 2 teaspoons minced key lime zest, 3/4 cup water, and 7 oz sweetened condensed milk.

Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of tequila to the mixture and whisk together until completely combined.

Put a pinch of kosher salt into the bottom of each popsicle mold.

Pour the liquid mixture over the salt in the molds.

Cap with the popsicle sticks and place in the freezer.

Freeze for 6 hours or until completely frozen.
