Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.

Add minced garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet; cook until browned and tender, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in miso paste and soy sauce; mix until well combined.

Add vegetable broth and bring to a simmer; cook for 3-5 minutes.

Add cooked pasta to the skillet; toss to coat evenly with the sauce.

Season with black pepper and red pepper flakes to taste.

Finish with lime juice and chopped scallions; mix well.
