Welcome to my home kitchen. I am Baona and today I'm making zucchini and cherry tomatoes pasta salad.

Here I have the zucchini and some cherry tomatoes already washed and the zucchini is already washed as well.

I'm just going to cut the zucchini into cubes. You can chop however you like.

Today I'm using penny pasta, specifically the mini kind, which is perfect for salad.

I'm going to turn on the stove. In one pot, I'm going to boil the pasta and in the other pan, I'm going to cook the vegetables.

In the pot, I'm going to boil the pasta. Keep the temperature on high in the beginning and drop the pasta in.

Bring it to a boil and season with salt.

In the other pan, I'm going to add olive oil, minced garlic, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes (I prefer to add them whole).

I'm going to cook them on high heat and season with salt and red pepper flakes.

I also add dry Italian seasoning to the vegetables.

The pasta has come to a boil; it doesn't take long to cook the mini pasta.

Drain the pasta and add olive oil again to keep them separate and nice. Give it a quick stir.

Now, I'm going to mix everything into the pan with the vegetables. If desired, add prepared marinara sauce or any kind of pasta sauce.
