How to make sautéed Spinach: Cookin' with the Average Guy
Recipe Information
Sautéed Spinach
Wash the baby spinach again in a colander to ensure it's clean.
Use about 3/4 of the pound of spinach for cooking, leaving some for later use.
Heat a wok-style sauté pan on medium heat.
Add olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan.
Add the washed spinach to the pan.
Pour in about 1 cup of water (or a little less) and add the anony spice generously.
Cover the pan and let the spinach simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Check for doneness by looking for a vibrant deep green color and soft texture.
If there is too much water, pour off some while trying to keep the spinach in the pan.
Optionally, add raw garlic or garlic salt for extra flavor before serving.
