Sautéed Spinach
Quantities are estimated based on standard recipes for your convenience. The actual ingredients used in this video are accurate.
Go to the grocery store to pick fresh ingredients.
Pick a bunch of spinach or baby spinach.
Select green onions, red bell peppers, red onion, and cherry tomatoes.
Purchase beef.
Wash the spinach until the water is clear.
Cut off the root part of the spinach if using bunch spinach.
Heat water and blanch the spinach for 30 to 45 seconds until bright green.
Run cold water over the spinach to stop the cooking process and drain.
Squeeze out excess water from the spinach and slice it.
Chop the bell peppers, onion, garlic, and beef.
Cut the beef against the grain for tenderness.
Transfer beef to a bowl and season with black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce.
Mix the beef with the seasonings using hands until well coated.
Add cooking oil to a pot or skillet and cook the beef until fully cooked with crispy brown edges, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
Remove the beef and set aside.
Sauté garlic in the same pot until fragrant.
Add chopped tomatoes and onion, stirring until the tomatoes soften.
Add red bell peppers and cook until soft but still crunchy, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Add chili flakes, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
Stir in the spinach and mix well.
Add chopped green onion for flavor.
Adjust the consistency with a little water if desired.
Keep heat low to avoid overcooking the spinach and serve immediately.
