Prepare pizza dough and let it rise according to recipe instructions.
Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, and parmesan cheese.
Add pepperoni, spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and garlic to the cheese mixture; season with salt, black pepper, oregano, and basil.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
Cut the dough into circles using a large bowl or a pizza cutter.
Spoon the cheese and filling mixture onto one half of each dough circle, leaving a border.
Brush the edges of the dough with olive oil or beaten egg.
Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and press the edges to seal.
Use a fork to crimp the edges for a decorative finish.
Place the calzones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the tops with olive oil and make small slits for steam to escape.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
