Yuca Mash
Quantities are estimated based on standard recipes for your convenience. The actual ingredients used in this video are accurate.
Place the yuca chunks in a large pot and cover with water.
Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat and cook the yuca for about 20-25 minutes, or until tender.
Drain the yuca and let it cool slightly before handling.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked yuca, coconut milk, butter, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Mash the yuca mixture with a potato masher or fork until smooth and creamy.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more salt or pepper to your liking.
Serve warm as a side dish.
