1 stalk of celery
12 ounces Guinness stout beer
2 cups water
1.5 tablespoons chicken broth base
8 ounces cheddar cheese
1.5 cups half and half
2 tablespoons cornstarch

Dice the carrots and celery, and chop the potatoes into one-inch cubes.

Brown the Italian sausage in a pan on the stove.
