Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine the cooked lentils and finely chopped walnuts.
  2. 2Add the nutritional yeast, tomato paste, soy sauce, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar to the bowl.
  3. 3Sprinkle in the smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and salt.
  4. 4Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  5. 5Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more spices or salt as desired.
  6. 6Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  7. 7Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little olive oil.
