Preheat the grill until very hot, about 6 seconds of holding your hand above the grill.
Season the steak with salt on one side and a lot of black pepper.
Cook the steak for 7 minutes on one side and 5 minutes on the other for medium, adjusting time for desired doneness.
Prepare the fries by cutting potatoes and frying them at a lower temperature for the first cook, then increasing the temperature for crispiness.
Make garlic butter by blending garlic with oil and mixing it with melted butter, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Toss the fries in the garlic butter mixture.
