Remove the tough stems from the collard greens by hand.
Stack the collard greens, roll them up, and chop them with a sharp knife.
Prepare a tray full of water, adding 2-3 capfuls of apple cider vinegar and some salt.
Soak the collard greens in the water for about 5 minutes to clean them, rubbing them together and rinsing 2-3 times.
Place the smoked turkey drums in a saucepan and season with creole seasoning and sazon.
Add chicken broth to the saucepan with the turkey and cover to cook for about 30 minutes.
Check the turkey to ensure it is tender and falling off the bone before adding the greens.
Add the chopped collard greens to the saucepan with the turkey.
Add chopped onion, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, oregano, onion powder, seasoned pepper, and 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter to the pot.
Cover and allow to boil for about 30 minutes until the greens are soft and the turkey is tender.
Adjust the consistency by allowing some water to remain for sauce.
