1 medium yellow onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
6 pepperoncini peppers
1/2 cup butter
2 cups beef broth
1 packet au jus gravy mix
1 packet ranch seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup water

Season the roast to taste with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Slice half of a yellow onion.

In a Dutch oven or skillet, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and sear the roast on each side for 3 minutes to form a crust.
