Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Wash and chop the spinach and Swiss chard, then sauté in olive oil until wilted, about 5 minutes.
Remove the greens from heat and let cool slightly.
In a mixing bowl, combine the sautéed greens with ricotta cheese, eggs, grated parmesan, nutmeg, black pepper, and salt.
Roll out the puff pastry and line a greased pie dish, leaving some overhang.
Pour the filling into the pastry-lined dish and spread evenly.
Cover the filling with another layer of puff pastry, sealing the edges by folding over the excess from the bottom layer.
Cut a few slits in the top pastry to allow steam to escape.
Brush the top with olive oil or beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
Garnish with lemon zest and fresh herbs before serving.
