Let the mixture simmer for five to eight minutes until it thickens to the desired consistency.
Add 250 grams of mature cheddar cheese to the sauce and stir until melted and creamy.
Taste the sauce; no seasoning is added as the cheese is salty enough.
Use the cheese sauce to mix with cooked pasta (like fusilli or macaroni) in a baking dish, ensuring it's generously coated with sauce.
Let the mac and cheese rest for at least 20 minutes before serving.
