Preheat the Blackstone Griddle to medium low heat or set an electric Blackstone Griddle to 300°F.

Melt the seasoned butter in a metal bowl on top of the griddle as it heats up.

Slice the Hawaiian sweet rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected.

Spread a thin layer of the melted seasoned butter using a pastry brush over the front and backs of each slab of rolls.

Place the buttered rolls onto the hot griddle so the cut side is up. Cook until they are lightly golden-brown.

Using a griddle spatula, flip each slab of rolls over. Cook that side until it’s golden-brown.

Flip again and place slices of the cheese onto the warm toasted cut sides.
