5 Eggs room temperature
100 g Unsalted Butter, melted
1 Can Evaporated Milk (12oz. (354ml))
1 Can Condensed Milk (14 oz. (396g))
1 cup Raisins
1 Tbsp. Vanilla extract
½ tsp. Ground Cinnamon
¼ tsp. Ground Clove (optional)
1/3 Cup Rum
3 Tbsp. White granulated sugar

Prepare the caramel by combining 1 Cup white granulated sugar and ½ Cup water in a saucepan over medium heat until it turns golden brown.

Grease a baking dish with melted unsalted butter.

Tear the bread into small pieces and place it in a large bowl.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, evaporated milk, condensed milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and optional ground clove.
