Prepare the brisket by using a flat piece without the fat cap.
Create a rub with seasoning and rub it all over the brisket, then let it sit for about an hour.
Place the brisket in a roasting pan on a rack.
Add about half to three-quarters of beef broth to the bottom of the roasting pan.
Add about 1 to 2 cups of red wine for flavor.
Cover the brisket with tin foil to lock in moisture.
Preheat the oven to 250°F (121°C) and place the covered brisket inside.
Cook the brisket in the oven for about 3 and a half hours.
Remove the tin foil and increase the oven temperature to 300°F (149°C) for the last hour to create a crust on the outside.
Let the brisket rest for about an hour after cooking.
Slice the brisket against the grain at an angle, as thick or thin as desired.
Cut longer slices in half for serving on buns.
Place sliced brisket on a platter and top with Lake Geneva Country Meats barbecue sauce.
