1

Put together the glaze by whisking together honey, mustard, brown sugar, nutmeg, ground cloves, all spice, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and pineapple juice.

2

Score the ham by making diagonal slits in one direction and then in the opposite direction to create diamond shapes.

3

Preheat the oven to 325°F for at least 25 minutes.

4

Put a little bit of the glaze mixture in the bottom of a baking dish and lay the ham on top.

5

Add a little pineapple juice in the bottom of the dish to prevent the ham from drying out (optional).

6

Brush the glaze mixture all over the ham, allowing it to seep into the slices.

7

Wrap the ham with aluminum foil to keep steam in and prevent drying out.

8

Bake the ham at 325°F for 20 to 25 minutes per pound.

9

After baking, baste the ham with the juices from the dish and drain off excess liquids.

10

Decorate the ham with pineapple, cherries, and whole cloves as desired.

11

Brush the simmered glaze over the ham and garnish with pineapple and cherries secured with toothpicks.

12

Put the ham back in the oven without the foil for another 20 minutes or less to heat the garnishes and make the glaze stickier.

13

Remove the ham from the oven and brush on more glaze before serving.
