1 can cream style corn
1/2 cup water (or a little more)
1 medium sized onion
3 jalapeno peppers, chopped

Use 2 packages of Martha White buttermilk cornmeal mix.

Add 1 can of cream style corn to the cornmeal mix.

Add about 1/2 cup of water (or a little more) to the mixture.

Mix the ingredients together and put half of the mixture in the bottom of a skillet.

Chop 1 medium sized onion and add it to the skillet.

Chop 3 jalapeno peppers and add them to the skillet, or leave them out if desired.

Spread cheese over the top of the mixture in the skillet.

Put the other half of the cornbread mixture on top of the cheese and other ingredients.

Place the skillet in the oven to bake.
