Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
Spread the filling mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a border.
Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other, sealing the edges.
Place the rolled dough seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the top with beaten egg for a golden finish.
Let the dough rise again for about 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake the ham bread for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
