Crescent roll dough is often less expensive and still provides a flaky texture.

Drain the little smokies and dry them off with a paper towel.

Open the crescent roll package.

Roll out the dough and separate the triangles.

Cut each triangle into three pieces using a knife or pizza cutter.

Take each piece and roll up a little smokey starting from the biggest end.

Place the rolled smokies on a baking sheet (no greasing needed).

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 15 minutes.
