Pour in enough water to cover the ingredients and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and cover, simmering for 45-60 minutes until the octopus is tender.
Stir in chopped parsley and lemon juice just before serving.
Adjust seasoning with chili flakes for heat, if desired.
