Canned pineapple is often less expensive and still flavorful.

Rinse the purple corn and add it to a pot with 4 liters of water.

Add diced Granny Smith apple cores and juice the limes into the pot.

Add 1 cup of pure cane sugar, 6 whole cloves, and 1/4 cup of honey to the pot.

Bring the mixture to a boil on high heat until a strong boil is achieved.

Reduce heat to medium low and cook for about 1 hour.

After cooking, strain the mixture into a bowl to remove the solids.

Cool the liquid in the refrigerator.

Add the cooled liquid to the Vivore slushie machine and blend until slushy.

Serve in cups with frozen fruits added for garnish.
