Add 4 teaspoons of white vinegar to the bowl and mix well.

Add 1 cup of mayonnaise to the mixture and incorporate it until creamy.

Take a large bowl and add 1 pound of prepackaged coleslaw and carrot mixture.

Pour the mayonnaise mixture over the coleslaw and mix well to coat all the cabbage.

Transfer the coleslaw to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably 24 hours for best flavor.
