In a bowl, combine 1 glass of oil, 1 glass of lard, 1 egg yolk, 25g of fresh yeast, and 1 glass of orange juice.

Add 2 glasses of water, using the second glass to dissolve the yeast.

Stir the mixture and gradually add approximately 1kg of flour until it thickens.

Knead the dough with your hands for 12 minutes, adding flour as needed.

Cover the dough and let it rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.

Prepare the chicken breast by seasoning it with salt and pepper to taste and set aside.

In a skillet, cook chopped onion with salt and pepper over low heat until soft.

Add a good amount of oil to the onion and cover it to cook.

Once the onion is cooked, mix it with the seasoned chicken and stir well.

Add 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika to the chicken mixture and reserve until the dough is ready.

Form a ball of dough and a smaller one for the lid.

Flatten the smaller ball into a lid shape, using a rolling pin if necessary.

Place some of the chicken mixture inside the larger ball of dough and cover it with the lid.

Press the edges to seal the empanada, and optionally puncture the top.

Preheat the oven to 200ºC (392ºF).

Place the empanadas on a baking tray, ensuring they are spaced apart as they will expand during baking.

Bake the empanadas for 45 minutes until golden brown.

Let the empanadas cool before serving.
