Chop celery and dice half of a sweet onion.

Shred extra sharp cheddar cheese.

Trim excess fat from 3 chicken breasts and wash them.

Season chicken breasts with smoked paprika, mustard powder, onion powder, garlic and herb dried parsley, lemon pepper, black pepper, and poultry seasoning.

Add about 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil to the seasoned chicken and mix until well coated.

Dice pepper bacon and set aside.

In the crock pot, add diced onions and chopped celery.

Add 1 can of cream of chicken soup and 1 can of cream of mushroom soup to the crock pot.

Pour in 3 cups of chicken broth, mixing to coat the inside of the soup cans.

After an hour and a half, check that the chicken and dumplings are browned on top.
