Ingredients
- ●4 slices of bread
- ●4 slices of ham
- ●4 slices of cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
- ●2 tbsp butter
- ●1 can (10.5 oz) condensed tomato soup
- ●1 cup water
- ●1/2 tsp garlic powder
- ●1/2 tsp onion powder
- ●Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- 2Place two slices of bread, butter-side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
- 3Layer each with 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of cheese.
- 4Top with the remaining slices of bread, butter-side up.
- 5Cook until the bread is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
- 6In a separate pot, combine the tomato soup, water, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- 7Heat the soup over medium heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally.
- 8Once the sandwiches are done, remove from the skillet and cut in half.
- 9Serve the hot ham and cheese sandwiches with a bowl of tomato soup for dipping.

- ●1 cup carrots, diced
- ●1 cup peas, frozen
- ●1 cup corn, frozen
- ●1 onion, chopped
- ●2 cloves garlic, minced
- ●4 cups mashed potatoes
- ●1 tsp thyme
- ●1 tsp rosemary
- ●1/2 tsp salt
- ●1/2 tsp black pepper
- ●2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- 3Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
- 4Stir in diced carrots, cooking for about 5 minutes until slightly softened.
- 5Add cooked lentils, frozen peas, and corn to the skillet, mixing well.
- 6Season the mixture with thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper, and cook for another 5 minutes.
- 7Transfer the lentil mixture to a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- 8Top the lentil mixture with mashed potatoes, smoothing it out with a spatula.
- 9Use a fork to create texture on the mashed potatoes for a crispy top.
- 10Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- 11Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
