Slice garlic into small pieces, ensuring there are no large chunks.
Heat a smaller pan on medium-high heat.
Add approximately 2 teaspoons of olive oil to the pan and let it get hot.
Add the frozen artichoke hearts directly from the freezer to the pan, spreading them out in a single layer.
Cover the pan with a lid and cook the artichokes for about 7 minutes, checking them at 5 minutes for browning.
After 4 minutes, check the artichokes; they should be browning on the edges. Flip them to char the second side.
Cook for an additional couple of minutes until they are soft and tender with a nice brown coating.
Add the sliced garlic to the pan and reduce the heat slightly to avoid burning the garlic.
Sprinkle in some salt and sauté the garlic with the artichokes for about a minute.
Zest the organic lemon over the artichokes, being careful not to grate too deeply.
Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice over the artichokes, then turn off the heat and toss everything together.
Crumble feta cheese over the artichokes, adding as much as desired.
Chop fresh basil leaves and sprinkle them on top of the dish before serving.
