Add rinsed black beans to a pressure cooker with 4 cups of water.

Stir in Dominican oregano, cumin, chicken bouan, and tomato paste.

Add more bay leaves and the reserved beanto to the pot.

If needed, add water to stretch the beanto.

Once simmering, add rinsed white rice to the pot and mix until water dries up.

Cover and steam cook on low for 30-40 minutes until rice is fluffy.
