Chicken sausage is leaner, while pork sausage is often cheaper.

In a large bowl, smash down the tube of breakfast sausage.

Add 1 and 3/4 cups of Bisquick to the bowl.

Add 4 cups of sharp cheddar cheese to the mixture.

Add about 1 tablespoon of Holy Cow seasoning (not measured exactly).

Optionally, add a couple pinches of fresh diced jalapenos.

Mix all ingredients together until well combined.

Form the mixture into 1-inch balls.

Preheat the Traeger grill to 400°F with hickory wood.

Place the sausage balls on the grill.

Cook the sausage balls for about 10-13 minutes, checking for an internal temperature of 165°F.

Remove from the grill and let cool slightly before serving.
