BOTTLING MAPLE SYRUP || HOW TO MAKE MAPLE SYRUP SERIES

Reheat the finished maple syrup to make it thinner for filtering.

Pour the syrup through a pre-filter to remove large chunks.

Use a measuring cup with a hooked handle to avoid dripping syrup.

Run the syrup through felt filters for final filtering.

Lift the filter sock to help the syrup drain if it stops flowing.

Heat the syrup to 211°F to ensure it's ready for bottling.

Prepare a cookie sheet next to the burner for filling bottles.

Fill the bottles with syrup, add a new seal cap, and lay them on their side to seal.

Note that 26 liters of syrup were obtained from the first boil.
