Set the smoker to 250°F.
Prepare an aluminum tray for the ham.
Season the ham with salt, pepper, ground cloves, and cinnamon, rubbing the seasonings in well.
Add apple juice to the bottom of the tray to keep the ham moist during smoking.
Place the seasoned ham in the smoker and smoke until the internal temperature reaches about 135°F, checking the temperature in about 1-2 hours.
Once the ham reaches 120°F, prepare the glaze by mixing butter, brown sugar, dark brown sugar, maple syrup, honey, Dijon mustard, and some of the apple juice from the cooking tray.
Reduce the glaze mixture by half while mixing well.
Remove the ham from the smoker and coat it with the glaze using a basting brush, ensuring the whole ham is covered.
Return the glazed ham to the smoker for an additional 15-20 minutes to caramelize the glaze and create a crust.
After smoking, slice the ham and taste test to ensure it is tender and juicy.
