Green Goddess Hummus

1 can garbanzo beans
1/2 cup tahini
1/2 cup fresh basil
1/2 cup fresh parsley
1/3 cup chives
3 cloves garlic
juice of 1 lemon
salt
pepper
olive oil

Drain and rinse 1 can of garbanzo beans and add to the blender.

Add 1/2 cup of tahini to the blender.

Add 1/2 cup of fresh basil from the garden to the blender.

Add 1/2 cup of fresh parsley from the garden to the blender.

Add approximately 1/3 cup of chives to the blender.

Smash 3 cloves of garlic and add them to the blender.

Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon into the blender.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add a drizzle of good quality olive oil to the blender.

Blend the mixture starting on low and gradually increasing the speed, scraping down the sides as needed.
