In a separate bowl, whisk together brown sugar, molasses, milk, melted butter, and eggs until smooth.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in raisins and walnuts gently into the batter.
Grease a loaf pan and pour the batter into it, smoothing the top.
Cover the loaf pan with foil to prevent water from dripping in.
Place the loaf pan in the steamer, ensuring it is not touching the water.
Steam for about 60-75 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Once done, carefully remove the loaf pan from the steamer and let it cool for 10 minutes.
Turn the bread out onto a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
