Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cake mix, 3 large eggs, 1 cup milk (warmed slightly), and 1/2 cup vegetable oil; mix until well combined.
Prepare a bundt pan by greasing it and lining the bottom with parchment paper.
Pour the cake batter into the prepared bundt pan and tap it to remove air bubbles.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes.
While the cake is baking, make the caramel by melting 3/4 cup sugar in a pan, adding a splash of hot water, and stirring until it becomes caramel.
Pour the caramel into the bottom of another pan, coating the sides as well, and let it cool.
In a separate bowl, combine 3 large eggs, 8 oz cream cheese, 1 can evaporated milk, 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract; blend until smooth.
Pour the flan mixture into the caramel-coated pan.
Place the flan pan into a larger baking dish and add hot water to the larger dish until it reaches halfway up the sides of the flan pan.
Cover the flan with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour, checking with a toothpick for doneness.
After an hour, check the flan; if it's not set, bake for a little longer.
Once done, remove the flan from the oven and let it cool before inverting it onto a plate.
Layer the flan on top of the chocolate cake, trimming the cake if necessary to ensure even layers.
Melt some chocolate and drizzle it over the top of the layered cake and flan.
Add chopped nuts on top for decoration.
