French Onion Pot Roast

1 whole yellow onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt
0.5 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 cans French onion soup
2 roasts

Drizzle oil in the crockpot and turn on sauté mode.

Brown all sides of the roast in the crockpot.

Slice the whole onion and separate the slices.

Place the sliced onions on top of the browned roast.

Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and French onion soup on top of the roast.

Cover the crockpot and cook on low for about 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.

After cooking, remove the roast and shred it using two forks.

To thicken the sauce, turn on sauté mode and bring the liquid to a boil.

Mix 1-2 tablespoons of cornstarch with cold water, then stir it into the boiling sauce.

Let it cook until thickened to desired consistency.

Serve the shredded roast with gravy over egg noodles, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables.
