1

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

2

Prepare a bunch of vegetables: broccoli, yellow cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper cut into 1-inch pieces, sliced carrots, and red onion cut into chunks.

3

Spread the vegetables out on a lightly greased sheet pan, either keeping them in sections by color or mixing them together.

4

In a bowl, combine 1/4 cup melted butter, 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and 4 cloves of crushed garlic. Whisk together.

5

Pour about 2/3 of the sauce over the vegetables, saving some for later. Toss the vegetables to coat them in the sauce.

6

Roast the vegetables in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.

7

While the vegetables are roasting, take out 2 sirloin steaks and season both sides with salt and pepper. Let the steaks sit for 15 minutes to bring them closer to room temperature.

8

After 15 minutes, remove the sheet pan from the oven and scooch the veggies over to make room for the steaks.

9

Place the steaks on the sheet pan and drizzle the remaining sauce over the steaks.

10

Return the sheet pan to the oven, this time under the broil setting, and broil for about 4-5 minutes.

11

After 4-5 minutes, pull out the rack and flip the steaks, then put them back in to broil for another 4-5 minutes until the desired internal temperature is reached.

12

Finish with a drizzle of lemon juice over the veggies and sprinkle with the zest from 1 lemon.

13

Serve immediately while still hot.
