Crush 6 cloves of garlic in a pestle and mortar.
Add white wine vinegar to the crushed garlic.
Season chicken legs with salt and freshly ground black pepper on both sides.
Heat a dry pan over medium heat.
Add chicken legs to the pan to brown, possibly in two batches.
Cook chicken for about 10 minutes, turning to achieve a golden brown color.
Add the crushed garlic and white wine vinegar mixture to the pan.
Add fresh parsley and the chicken stock to the pan.
Cover the pan with a lid and reduce heat to low-medium, ensuring juices are bubbling.
Cook the chicken for 45 minutes to 1 hour, checking for tenderness.
After 1 hour, check the chicken for tenderness by inserting a fork; it should come out easily.
Serve the chicken on a plate with sauce from the pan.
