This plant-based version substitutes chickpeas for tuna, making it a hearty and satisfying dish that appeals to vegans and non-vegans alike. It's perfect for family dinners or potlucks, showcasing how traditional recipes can be adapted for modern dietary preferences. Today, variations abound, with many incorporating different vegetables or spices to suit personal tastes.
