Pour glutinous flour into a bowl.

Gradually add 1 cup of water if the glutinous rice flour is wet, or 1-2 cups if it’s dry, while mixing.

Add 2 tbsp. of sugar and 1/2 tbsp. of salt, then mix again.

Place plastic wrapper on top of the bowl and poke holes in it.

Microwave for 2 minutes.

Take out the dough and mix it well, being careful as it's hot.

Wrap it again with plastic and poke holes into it.

Microwave for another 2 minutes until you reach a sticky but firm consistency.

Pour a generous amount of soy flour onto your work board.

Coat the rice cake with the soy flour.

Shape it lengthwise, at least an inch long.

Cut the rice cake into half-inch thick slices.

Roll the rice cake slices in the soy bean flour.
