Combine 60g whole wheat flour, 100g all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking powder, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.

Add 60g vegetable oil and pour in 60g very hot water into the oil.

Mix all together until it forms a dough ball.

Cover the dough and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Slice 300g strawberries and add 2 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp corn starch, and mix.

Optional: add 1 tbsp lemon juice and lemon zest to the strawberry mixture.

After 30 minutes, transfer the dough onto parchment paper and roll it into a round about 3-4 mm thick.

Pile the strawberry filling on top of the dough, leaving a 4 cm border around the edge.

Fold the edge of the dough towards the center.

Brush the crust with the leftover strawberry-sugar juice, or use milk or egg wash.

Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.

Bake in a preheated oven at 370°F (187°C) for about 30 minutes, until light golden.

Immediately after baking, brush some of the hot juice over the top of the strawberries to glaze.
