  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. 2Add the plain yogurt and lime juice to the bowl with the avocado.
  3. 3Sprinkle in the garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. 4Mash the ingredients together with a fork or a potato masher until smooth and creamy.
  5. 5If desired, fold in the chopped cilantro for added flavor.
  6. 6Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more salt or lime juice as preferred.
  7. 7Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
